REPORTS TO
· Director of Sales & Marketing
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify, target,
and generate new agribusiness sales to meet specified goals.
·
Coordinate sales
presentations.
·
Cold call and prospect
new sales opportunities.
·
Understand and
communicate information regarding AgTrax products, services and policies and
procedures to new clients in a timely manner.
·
Attend and
participate in sales meetings, industry trade shows and training sessions.
·
Identify market
trends and competitive actions and communicate with management.
·
Develop &
maintain a short and long-term forecast and quarterly sales plan.
·
Provide accurate
and timely reports as required.
·
Follow through on
all assigned leads in region and document communications in Company CRM.
·
Provide a high
level of relationship-based customer service to new, prospective customers.
·
Ensure that all
required client paperwork is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
·
Work closely with
strategic integration partner sales teams to ensure each opportunity is pursued
with a timely and systematic approach.
BACKGROUND OR EDUCATION
· Direct ERP
software sales experience is beneficial.
·
Knowledgeable of
and possessing an established sales generation history in Territory and can hit
the ground running.
·
Documented
success in territory management and exceeding sales quotas.
·
Basic
understanding of agriculture and retail grain accounting.
·
Bachelor's or
other college degree, or equivalent Agricultural/Technology Sales experience.
SKILLS
· High level of
initiative, organization & communication skills, and independent judgment.
·
Able to operate
with minimal supervision – Self-starter and problem solver.
·
Great software
aptitude with a passion for Agriculture & Technology.
·
Team Player.
·

· May require
extensive overnight travel.
