Regional Sales Manager

This position assumes responsibilities of all sales activities and is responsible for continued growth of the company-wide customer base and forecasted revenue generation.  Coordinates all aspects of selling AgTrax products and services on a business to business level in assigned territory/accounts.  Focuses on coordinating the efforts of all staff involved in developing a highly effective prospect database focused on delivering new customer satisfaction and brand image.

  • Director of Sales and Marketing

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, target and generate business to business sales to meet specified goals.
  • Coordinate sales presentations and accurately measure and price products.
  • Cold call and prospect new sales opportunities.
  • Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services and policies and procedures to new clients in a timely manner.
  • Attend and participate in strategic sales meetings, industry trade shows and training sessions.
  • Identify market trends and competitive actions, and communicate to management.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment by developing, engaging and maintaining a short and long-term forecast and sales plan.
  • Ensure that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Provide a high level of relationship-based customer service to new customers.
  • Follow through on leads generated via targeted marketing campaigns in assigned region.
  • Work closely with strategic partner sales teams to ensure each opportunity is pursued with a timely, systematic approach.

 

 BACKGROUND OR EDUCATION

  • Direct ERP software sales experience is beneficial.
  • Documented success in territory management and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Basic understanding of agriculture and retail grain accounting.

 

SKILLS

  • High level of initiative, discretion and independent judgment.
  • Able to operate with minimal supervision- self-starter and problem solver.
  • Great software aptitude with a passion for technology.
  • Desire to be the best while representing the best.

 

TRAVEL OR OTHER CONDITIONS

  • May require extensive overnight travel.
